Nutan is a leading executive in the pharmaceutical industry with over thirty years of scientific and leadership experience. After earning a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, he worked with American Cyanamid, Wyeth-Ayerst, DuPont, and Bristol Myers Squibb, before joining a startup. He transformed the company from early-stage R&D to a full-fledged CDMO specializing in developing small therapeutic molecules from IND to NDA. Nutan’s expertise covers all phases of drug development, including technical (bioavailability, dosage form design, product development, scale-up, technology transfer), regulatory, and quality. At Quotient, he led the Global Pharmaceutical Sciences Department, harmonizing processes across U.K. and U.S. sites for efficiency and seamless transfers. Nutan has built high-performing teams, mentored many scientists, overseen the filing of hundreds of INDs, launched several commercial products, and hosted and supported regulatory inspections, including general audits and pre-approval inspections.
